We're rushing around here, putting the final touches on our trip (including an arduous to a Guarulhos sorting office on Thursday, to claw a pair of wedding trousers from the cold, incompetent hands of the Brazilian postal system in the nick of time) and Gaby's dissertation. We also went to another festa junina at Gaby's primary school this weekend, which was mildly amusing although we weren't allowed to join in with the line-dancing.
So without further ado here is a compilation (ft. NEW FINK!), and one of my favourite Portuguese words, "pegapacapa" (which I've also seen spelt "pega-pa-capa", "pega pra capar", etc), whose closest equivalent in English would probably be "omnishambles". It trips off the tongue quite nicely, and came to mind a lot in the aftermath of last week's election.
And now, gentlemen, to bed! For we ride at daybreak...
