Halloooo,
It's been unusually chilly this weekend - which was a long one, due to Brazil's Independence Day falling on Monday - so we mainly spent it indoors, nursing Amelie back to health after another round of jabs. Gaby's uncle Bill was also intown, so we caught up with him and ate lots of nice food.
In other news, I've made another compilation, and my phrase of the day ("dar murro em ponto de faca", or "to strike the tip of the knife") means to insist on a pointless endeavour - to "bang one's head against the wall" or "beat a dead horse", as it were.
